Nominate a household
Share a little about why a tune-up would help. Please do not include medical records, financial documents, account numbers or sensitive personal details. If nominating someone else, ask their permission first. We will contact you privately about next steps. First-round deadline: October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
Program Details
What's included
One complimentary seasonal inspection and tune-up for one residential HVAC system, normally $198, with a system performance report and recommendations. Additional systems, repairs, replacement parts, refrigerant, major component cleaning and replacement equipment are not included. No purchase, payment or service agreement is required; recommendations carry no obligation.
Who can be nominated
A household within the service radius. The adult resident must agree to the visit; rental properties require the property owner's permission before work. Nominators must be 18 or older. No age or senior-status requirement for the household.
How we choose
RK Hamshire Services reviews private nominations and chooses one eligible household per month based on the need described and whether a tune-up can provide useful help. This is not a random drawing or a public vote. Duplicate nominations do not improve consideration. The selected household is contacted privately and eligibility is confirmed before scheduling. We announce the monthly selection on Facebook after contacting the household privately; names, photos and stories are shared only with their permission. If they prefer privacy, the announcement will not identify them.
Timing
First-round nominations close October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. We will contact the first selected household by November 7, 2026, then announce the selection on Facebook with their privacy preferences respected. After the first round, nominations close on the last day of each month at 11:59 p.m. Central Time, and we aim to contact the selected household by the 7th of the following month. Nominations may be submitted again in a later month. Appointments are arranged directly with the household.
Your comfort comes first
Photos, video, a yard sign and any public recognition are entirely optional. We ask for separate permission before using anything in advertising. Declining will not affect eligibility or the free service.
Nomination privacy
RK Hamshire Services collects the information you submit through the nomination form on our website, rkhamshireservices.com, to review nominations, confirm eligibility and coordinate this program. Nomination stories and contact information are not posted publicly. Submitting a nomination does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. If you select the optional email signup, we will also use your email address to send offers and updates. Call 512-763-2066 with a privacy question or to withdraw your nomination.
